Activities
The island of Gran Canaria offers a variety of possibilities to the visitor now we make some recommendations of the most prominent.
Golf
Golf is played on a field or field of natural grass outdoors. Unlike many sports, golf does not have a standardized playing area. A golf course occupies a large area and is usually 9 or 18 partial routes, which is why some golfers, instead of walking, motorized carts are in comfortable, saving effort. At the end of each of these routes there is a hole in the surface where the ball has entered with the fewest possible strokes, by extension, each of the routes is also called partial hole. The order of travel of the holes on the court gives its name to each: hole 1, hole 2, etc.. to the hole 9 or No. 18 as appropriate. In some courses, the holes are given other names memorials, commercial or taken from some of its features: its difficulty, its design, flower names, etc.

Almost anywhere on the island there is a company, club association or center tie for fans to satisfy their desire to dominate the sea, its waves sudcando, outings, catching prized fishing or diving in the crystalline immensity.
Health & Beauty
Spa is a health facility offering treatments, therapies or relaxation systems, using water as the main base. There is no true origin of the word spa. Some attribute the Belgian town of Spa, which was known in Roman times for its thermal baths, while others speculate that comes from the acronym of the phrase in Latin salus per aquam, or "health through water '.
